The Role This is a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader position, supporting daily warehouse operations while acting as the trusted second-in-charge to the Warehouse Manager. You’ll lead from the front — managing people, supporting operations, and jumping on equipment when needed to keep things moving.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 6:00am – 2:06pm
What You’ll Be Doing - Leading and supporting warehouse and yard staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Coordinating stock movement to support manufacturing and production schedules
- Operating forklifts when required
- Managing container receivals, unloading, and reporting discrepancies
- Completing stocktakes, audits, and inventory management
- Ensuring warehouse safety, traffic management, and site standards are maintained
- Coordinating contractors and equipment servicing
- Working closely with scheduling teams, managers, and leadership to improve efficiency
- Handling reporting, systems, and warehouse administration
About You You’re an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading people but still likes rolling up your sleeves and getting involved.
You’ll likely bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience (or strong acting leadership exposure)
- Strong computer and reporting skills with confidence using warehouse systems/ERP
- Experience in stock control, inventory, and workflow coordination
- A solid understanding of warehouse safety and WHS requirements
- A current forklift licence or High-reach forklift experience (or willingness to learn)
