About The Role: You will ensure team members are skilled, confident, and compliant in their roles by delivering
engaging and effective training programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deliver engaging induction and onboarding programs for new employees, contractors, labour hire staff, trainees, and visitors.
- Coordinate and facilitate training on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and mandatory compliance programs.
- Identify training needs, skills gaps and opportunities for workforce development.
- Conduct refresher training and competency assessments to ensure ongoing compliance and capability.
- Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers and compliance documentation.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for internal and external audits.
- Monitor training compliance requirements and maintain supporting records.
- Partner with HR and operational teams to support employee onboarding and workforce development initiatives.
- Promote a positive learning culture by encouraging knowledge sharing and employee engagement.
About You
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or a relevant qualification in Training and Development.
- Previous experience in a Training Officer, Workplace Trainer, Learning & Development or similar position.
- Experience within food processing, manufacturing, production or other high-risk operational environments.
- Sound understanding of GMP, HACCP and WHS practices.
- Ability to identify training needs and implement effective training solutions.
- Strong administration skills with the ability to maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce.
- A proactive, positive and continuous improvement mindset.
